Dr Donovan Duffy is a dedicated Consultant Neonatologist and Paediatrician who provides expert medical care for newborn infants, premature babies, and critically ill neonates. With a compassionate and reassuring approach, he works alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams to guide families through complex medical journeys. Dr Duffy is deeply committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care aimed at ensuring the best possible health outcomes for vulnerable infants.

His clinical focus encompasses tertiary neonatal intensive care, neonatal cardiology, and targeted neonatal echocardiography. Dr Duffy possesses comprehensive expertise in managing extremely preterm infants, surgical neonatal conditions, and complex congenital illnesses. In addition to acute care, his interests include neurodevelopmental follow-up programmes, family-integrated care models, and targeted respiratory support, ensuring parents remain supported partners throughout their baby's recovery.

Dr Duffy completed his undergraduate medical training in South Africa before undertaking postgraduate specialist training in paediatric and neonatal medicine in the United Kingdom. He holds specialist registration in Paediatrics with a sub-speciality in Neonatal Medicine. Alongside his clinical duties, Dr Duffy actively engages in clinical governance, medical simulation training, and clinical research to continually elevate patient safety standards.
