Dr Mohammad Alam

This was our second visit with Dr. Mohamed Alam, and once again, we had a wonderful experience. He is incredibly thorough in his explanations and clearly has a wealth of experience. We really appreciate that he takes the time to explain the science behind his advice, which is something that is very important to us as parents. He is calm, reassuring, accommodating, and very gentle with our child. What we also really appreciate is how understanding and empathetic he is. He never makes you feel judged for being worried or asking lots of questions, and he has a very human and compassionate way of dealing with parents’ concerns. He also makes himself available whenever we have questions, even outside of appointments, which gives us a lot of reassurance and confidence in his care. We have been very impressed with Dr. Alam and would highly recommend him to any parents looking for a knowledgeable, thoughtful, caring, and genuinely understanding pediatrician.

We took our three-year-old daughter to see Dr Alam at Canary Clinic to get on top of her ongoing eczema and food allergies, and he was absolutely brilliant. Navigating flare-ups, steroid creams, and dietary triggers had become quite overwhelming for us, but Dr Alam took the time to listen properly and look at the whole picture. He was fantastic with our daughter—so calm, gentle, and patient throughout the examination. He gave us a comprehensive, structured plan for her skin, clearly explaining how to transition between treatments, and provided complete clarity on her egg allergy along with an action plan for nursery. He also flagged her blood test results for follow-up with our GP, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. A truly thorough, knowledgeable, and caring paediatrician.
