Dr Donald Peebles

Dr Donald Peebles is an accomplished Consultant Obstetrician and Specialist in Maternal and Foetal Medicine who provides comprehensive clinical care for women experiencing high-risk or complex pregnancies. He works alongside multidisciplinary maternity teams comprising specialist midwives, cardiologists, haematologists, and anaesthetists to deliver tailored support throughout pregnancy, labour, and delivery. Dr Peebles is committed to delivering reassuring, high-quality care that prioritises the well-being of both mother and baby.

His primary clinical focus encompasses the management of foetal growth restriction, foetal rhesus disease, and the prevention and management of preterm labour. As an established expert in foetal medicine, Dr Peebles offers specialised prenatal diagnostic services and advanced foetal therapies. His research interests centre on foetal physiology, foetal oxygenation during labour, and strategies to prevent perinatal brain injury, ensuring that his clinical practice is guided by the latest scientific advancements.

Dr Peebles completed his undergraduate medical education at Cambridge University and Guy's and St Thomas's Medical School, qualifying with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree in 1986. He subsequently earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of London in 1994 and attained membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1995.
