Dr J Shields completed his undergraduate dental training at the University of Glasgow, graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 1981. Demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional standard excellence, he undertook advanced postgraduate study and earned his Membership in General Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (MGDS RCPS) in 1991.
