HE IS EXCELLENT, NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT. COMPETENT AND REASSURING AND HIGHLY EXPERIENCED. HOWEVER, I ASKED HIM FOR ADVICE ABOUT WASHING AND DRESSING AFTER SHOULDER SURGERY. HE SAID ASK THE PHYSIO. I ASKED THE PHYSIO, SHE SAID ASK THE NURSES. I ASKED THE NURSES, THEY STARED BLANKLY AND SAID THEY HADN'T A CLUE.
Been working with mr butt since November 2025. Ever efficient, friendly & , professional.

Mr Butt was extremely professional, knowledgeable and assured my daughter about her injury. Attentive and easy to talk with
Mr Butt is very personable, listens well and provided clear communication in a manner that was easy to understand.
Mr Butt came himself to the waiting area to find me and his kindly manner immediately made me feel both calmed and welcome. During the consultation he was very helpful, open, listening to me, and examining the mobility of my arm thoroughly, yet gently. He told me what his diagnosis was, "frozen shoulder", explaining it in great detail to me from the disease process and treatments, to the prognosis and possible outcomes.
Mr Butt instills confidence. He is an outstanding orthopaedic surgeon Explains things in a way you understand. I travelled 200 miles to see him so that tells you everything
I saw Mr Butt after suffering a frozen shoulder and following a few months of physiotherapy which had initially worked but had now plateaued I made an appointment to see M Butt. Within a week of seeing him I had an x-ray and steroid injection and within a few days of that, my movements were virtually back to normal and I had no more pain. I am very pleased with the results

Orthopaedic SurgeonDavid is a fantastic colleague and a great surgeon. He’s got a really calm, professional manner with patients and always takes the time to listen and explain things clearly. He’s especially good with complex upper limb cases — thoughtful, skilled, and someone I trust completely with challenging referrals.
