Miss Daniela Vaideanu-collins

Miss Daniela Vaideanu-Collins is a Consultant Ophthalmologist who provides expert diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients experiencing a wide range of visual and ocular conditions. Dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care, she ensures that individuals undergoing treatment receive thorough explanations and reassuring guidance throughout their clinical journey. Her primary aim is to preserve and enhance visual health through tailored treatment strategies suited to each patient's needs.

Miss Vaideanu-Collins completed her primary medical degree (MB ChB) at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași, Romania. She subsequently relocated to the United Kingdom to complete her Specialist Registrar training within the Northern Deanery. Expanding her academic expertise, she earned a research Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth) in London.

Her clinical interests focus on advanced vitreoretinal surgery, medical retina, and complex inflammatory eye conditions. She regularly performs surgical and medical interventions for conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, uveitis, and cataracts. By integrating clinical research with modern surgical techniques, Miss Vaideanu-Collins maintains high standards of practice aimed at achieving optimal visual outcomes for her patients.
