Dr Daniela Maria Paraschiv

Dr Daniela Maria Paraschiv is a dedicated Consultant Obstetrician specialising in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with a sub-specialist focus on Maternal Foetal Medicine. She provides comprehensive care for individuals navigating complex and high-risk pregnancies, prioritising patient safety, comfort, and clinical excellence. Her reassuring and patient-centred approach empowers individuals with clear guidance and personalised management plans tailored to their unique maternal health needs.

Dr Paraschiv graduated with her medical degree (MD) in 2010, having completed her medical training in Bucharest, Romania. To further advance her specialist skills, she completed clinical fellowships in Foetal Medicine and Maternal Medicine, with a strong focus on the management of pre-eclampsia. In addition, she holds Advanced Training Skills Modules (ATSMs) in Advanced Labour Ward Practice and Maternal Medicine.

Throughout her clinical practice, Dr Paraschiv has established expertise in managing challenging maternal and foetal conditions. She acts as a Lead Clinician overseeing the care of pregnant patients presenting with endocrine conditions, malignancies, HIV infection, or prenatally diagnosed foetal abnormalities. Her key areas of clinical focus include foetal growth restriction, maternal hypertension, and late pregnancy loss. Working closely with obstetric bereavement and governance teams, she actively contributes to service improvement and patient satisfaction across high-risk maternity care.
