Patients praise his skill in delivering babies, specifically noting smooth operations, quick recovery, and neat scars from both planned and emergency C-sections. I was seen by Dr. Daniel Stott for a routine scan, given my high blood pressure, during the later stages of my pregnancy. Dr Stott was extremely supportive when identifying an issue and then quickly escalating the matter, whilst keeping me calm and informed. I will be forever grateful to Dr Stott for his pragmatic and pro-active approach. He genuinely cares & I felt in the best possible hands.
Dr Daniel Stott provided exceptional care during my elective C-section, and I am incredibly grateful for his support. From the very first consultation, he was calm, compassionate, and extremely thorough, taking the time to explain everything clearly and answer all our questions. His reassurance made what could have been an anxious experience feel safe and manageable. On the day of the surgery, his professionalism and expertise were evident. He and his team created such a calm environment, and I always felt I was in the very best hands. Because of his skill and care, my baby arrived safely and my recovery has been smooth and well supported. What truly stood out was not only his medical excellence but also his kindness, patience, and genuine concern for both myself and my baby. He made one of the most important days of our lives a positive and memorable experience, and our family will always be grateful. I cannot recommend Dr Stott highly enough.
Daniel was with us from early on in the pregnancy. He was patient with our questions, taking all concerns seriously and providing informed views (even going to do further research when we had a very specific niche question). He listened to what we wanted for delivery and supported and guided us vs pushing an agenda. I always felt like I was in good hands. When it came time for the birth, there were some complications- Daniel acted very quickly to ensure the least amount of intervention and to get my baby out safely. We are very thankful Daniel was there with us.
Dr Stott supported me in the assisted vaginal delivery of my baby girl at Fitzrovia Suite, UCLH. I could have not been more happy to have chosen him as my consultant. I had hoped for a natural delivery at full term, but had some slight complications which meant that was not possible. Despite this, thanks to Dr Stott both my baby and I did very well, and I look back at her birth process as a very positive experience. Dr Stott has sound judgement when it comes to clinical decisions. He is calm and clear at communicating and explaining the reasoning behind his recommendations in easily accessible terms. And he was excellent at the delivery process itself. Due to gestational diabetes I was recommended to have an early induction. Dr Stott explained the process and its benefits in detail, so I felt prepared on the day. My baby was very small, and during the final stage of labour she became distressed. Dr Stott suggested a vacuum assisted delivery to speed things up, knowing I wanted to avoid a C section if possible. Despite the urgency, he remained calm and made sure I understood what was happening throughout the process and I felt entirely confident in his recommendation. The outcome was great - despite an episiotomy I was able to move straight away, have not had any discomfort and all the midwives who visited me have been commenting on how well the stitches were done; despite the stress she was under my daughter was well, and her head looked completely normal from the outset. I feel very lucky to have had Dr Stott support me through this all, and I do genuinely believe ...
Read moreDan is an amazing obstetrician. Throughout my pregnancy he was incredibly supportive, listened to any concerns I had, and was very accommodating as to how I wanted to give birth. He instilled a great deal of trust and his medical advice and skills are second to none. He also has an incredible bedside manner which makes all the difference. I have had Dan deliver both of my babies. One via planned c section and the other via emergency c section. Both went very smoothly and I have had a number of comments on both in relation to how good my scar is!
We have chosen Dr Stott for both of my pregnancies and we couldn't be more happier with our experiences. Dr Stott is kind, reply to our messages quickly, and respect all the decisions I've made during the pregnancies and deliveries. I had a planned c-section for our 2nd baby due to the baby's position. The whole procedure went smoothly, and I had excellent recovery afterwards. We couldn't be more grateful to Dr Stott and would highly recommend him!
Mr Stott is a wonderful Obstetrician . He has delivered both of my babies by caesarean section at UCLH and I could not have wished for better care. He is highly skilled surgically and has a meticulous approach to obstetric care that is personable and incredibly kind. Thank you again for giving us a truly fantastic experience.
We had a fantastic experience with Mr Daniel Stott at the Fitzrovia Suite, UCLH. Throughout the entire journey, the care we received was exceptional. Our consultant was incredibly responsive and always made us feel heard. They took the time to understand the type of delivery we hoped for and were genuinely supportive in helping us achieve it, provided it was clinically safe. What stood out most was their empathy and willingness to listen to all our concerns and thoughts. Every question was answered with patience and clarity, and the risks and options were always explained in a way that helped us make informed, confident decisions. Thanks to their guidance, we felt reassured and in safe hands as we welcomed our baby boy. We’re truly grateful for the outstanding care and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, expert obstetric support.
Mr Stott cared for me throughout my pregnancy and delivery. He is always professional and compassionate. He has a lovely bedside manner and provides reassurance at all times with his calm and caring nature. Always felt in safe hands. Delivery went smoothly with no complications. I would highly recommend Dr. Stott to anyone looking for a caring and professional obstetrician :-)
I cannot recommend Dan highly enough. From the beginning of my pregnancy, I was anxious about its success due to my age, medical history, general worries etc., but Dan immediately put me at ease with his calm, straightforward, and reassuring manner. He is skilled in explaining medical details and reasoning clearly, without unnecessary jargon, which really helped me feel informed and consulted. Dan never pushed his own agenda, rather he listened to what I wanted and supported me, while still offering thoughtful, professional guidance. Dan far exceeded my expectations, and truly over delivered. His care and support ensured a positive experience, not only for me, but also my partner and baby. Without hesitation, I would engage Dan and his practice again.
