Mr Daniel Howard

Mr Daniel Howard is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee conditions. He treats adult patients across a broad spectrum of joint problems, ranging from early arthritis and sports-related joint issues to advanced degenerative joint disease. His practice is grounded in a patient-centred approach, focusing on clear communication, shared decision-making, and coordinated multidisciplinary care to achieve optimal recovery and mobility outcomes.

In his clinical practice, Mr Howard provides a comprehensive array of conservative and surgical management options tailored to individual patient needs. His expertise encompasses total hip replacement, total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, and advanced robotic-assisted surgical techniques. He also has significant expertise in managing complex primary joint procedures, painful or failed joint implants, revision arthroplasty, prosthetic joint infections, hip impingement, trochanteric bursitis, and general orthopaedic trauma.

Mr Howard earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) before completing higher surgical training in the East Midlands and his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Tr&Orth). He subsequently undertook specialist fellowship training focused on complex hip and knee arthroplasty. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in teaching and learning for healthcare professionals.
