Dr Clare Mumby

Dr Clare Mumby is an experienced Consultant Physician specialising in Endocrinology & Diabetes. She provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and long-term management for patients with a wide range of hormonal, endocrine, and metabolic conditions. Known for her reassuring and thorough approach, Dr Mumby works collaboratively with patients and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver tailored, high-quality care.

Dr Mumby completed her medical degree at the University of Birmingham, qualifying with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 2004. She subsequently completed core medical and higher specialist training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and General Internal Medicine. She holds Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and attained a Diploma in Obstetric Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of conditions within Endocrinology & Diabetes, with particular expertise in maternal medicine and diabetes in pregnancy. Dr Mumby also maintains key clinical interests in inpatient diabetes management and metabolic bone disease. Alongside her clinical duties, she is actively engaged in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, supporting the training and development of doctors.
