Ms Claire Evans

Claire Evans is a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist at Priory Hospital Altrincham in Manchester. She has 27 years of experience working across inpatient settings, forensic services, and with young offenders. Claire is qualified in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), and provides support to both adults and young people.

Her clinical work covers a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety, trauma, bereavement, personality issues, attachment difficulties, autism, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). She also supports individuals with a variety of additional challenges such as phobias, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, addiction, and treatment-resistant depression.

Claire began her career as a psychiatric nurse and later developed her practice in psychological therapies. She is trained in EMDR through EMDR Institutes Training and has completed her DBT training at Priory.
