Dr Charles Pickles

Dr Charles Pickles is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist who provides compassionate, high-quality healthcare for infants, children, and young people. Specialising in paediatric kidney disorders alongside general child health, Dr Pickles works collaboratively with families to ensure that young patients receive comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, individualised treatment plans, and continuous support throughout their care journey.

In his clinical practice, Dr Pickles manages a broad spectrum of paediatric renal conditions, including acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, congenital nephrotic syndrome, and complex urinary tract infections. He has a keen interest in paediatric kidney transplantation, home-based intravenous therapies, and patient-focused educational initiatives designed to alleviate anxiety for children facing major medical procedures. His patient-centred approach ensures that young people and their carers feel well-informed and supported at every stage of treatment.

Dr Pickles completed his specialist medical training in paediatric medicine and holds Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH).
