Dr Charles Bouvier

Dr Charles Bouvier is a highly regarded Consultant Paediatrician who specialises in providing comprehensive care for children and young people. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, he is dedicated to managing a wide range of general paediatric conditions, ensuring that each young patient receives tailored and compassionate treatment. His clinical practice focuses on general paediatrics, complex paediatric care, and the multidisciplinary management of children with cleft lip and palate.

In addition to his general paediatric practice, Dr Bouvier has a strong interest in specialised multidisciplinary care. He is an integral member of the cleft service team, collaborating closely with surgeons, speech therapists, and other specialists to support children born with cleft lip and palate. His expertise also extends to managing complex paediatric cases, where he works to co-ordinate care and provide families with clear, reassuring guidance throughout their child's treatment journey.

Dr Bouvier completed his primary medical training, obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent medical degree. He is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of paediatric care. Alongside his clinical duties, Dr Bouvier is deeply involved in medical education, serving as a College Tutor in Paediatrics.
