Dr. Ben Marlow

Dr Marliw was extremely helpful to our daughter and to her parents. He provided very good advice, guidance and support when asked. He is also very good at encouraging our daughter to say how she felt about her moods, behaviour and generally about being diagnosed with ADHD and Autism

Dr Marlow was friendly, accommodating and thorough in his ADHD assessment and medication titration for our son. It was relative quick and easy to get an appointment with him and overall our experience has been very positive. Where NHS services are failing, he helped us get an ADHD diagnosis for our son, which greatly facilitated our and his school's understanding of his behaviours and needs. Dr Marlow subsequently helped us start our son on melatonin and later on ADHD medication in a timely manner without having to wait for a long period of time. Overall, this has benefitted our son's wellbeing and education greatly as well as having a wider impact on our family.

Dr Marlow was fantastic, sensitive, empathetic and explained everything in simple terms.

Took time to talk to our son included him in conversation but aware when he’d had enough. Explained everything and how we would proceed. Very happy with appointment.

I found Dr Marlow to be totally the right person for my son's ADHD assessment. Dr Marlow came across incredibly well and seemed to be quite down to earth which enabled my son to engage with him - this is exactly what was needed. Everything was dealt with in a excellent manner, I would not hesitate to recommend him.

When we booked our daughter’s ADHD and Autism assessment, we decided to wait a bit longer to be able to see Dr Marlow in person and it was totally worth it! Throughout both sessions Dr Marlow was very empathetic, caring and kind.. He walked us through our child’s diagnosis, what it meant for her, and the reasoning behind it. While interacting with our daughter he showed outstanding skills, communicating with her in a way that made her feel comfortable and at ease (despite the sessions being significantly long for an eight-year-old). Additionally, Dr Marlow offered great insight and helped us understand how the diagnosis could positively impact our daughter’s life, especially looking at it from a medium to long term perspective. Dr Marlow also showed great commitment by spending more time than expected ensuring our daughter’s environment is supportive across home and school. We feel very thankful to Dr Marlow for his care, we truly felt understood, and supported.

Kind, engaging and clinically excellent. I enjoyed the assessment, throughout it I felt Ben was supporting both Rafferty and I, providing incredible insight and reassurance throughout. I'm very grateful and an looking forward to receiving his report which I am sure will make a big difference to how we can help Rafferty thrive in the future.
