Ms Carol Semple

Carol Semple holds a first-class Bachelor of Science Honors degree in optometry from Glasgow Caledonian University. She has been with Urquhart Opticians for 3.5 months, bringing with her 18 years of experience as an optometrist.

Carol values being part of a close-knit team and respects the business's values and aspirations. She completed her Independent Prescribing qualification in 2021, enabling her to effectively support Prof. Srinivasan in her role within the clinic. Carol also has a particular interest in diabetic eye disease and contributes to the Ayrshire & Arran Diabetic Screening Programme as a Level 2 diabetic grader.
