Dr Carl Hammond is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Consultant Hepatologist who offers care to patients experiencing digestive and liver conditions. Dedicated to delivering high standards of medical practice, he combines clinical thoroughness with a reassuring, patient-focused approach. Dr Hammond began his higher education with a degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Nottingham before obtaining his graduate-entry medical degree from the University of Warwick. He completed his specialist medical training within the West Midlands Deanery, gaining focused experience in hepatology within a specialist liver unit. Following his formal UK training, Dr Hammond expanded his international expertise by completing an advanced fellowship in hepatology and liver transplantation in Vancouver, Canada.

His primary areas of clinical interest lie within hepatology, with dedicated focus on liver cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, and decompensated cirrhosis. Dr Hammond provides general hepatology care and performs endoscopic procedures, working alongside multidisciplinary medical teams to deliver structured surveillance and comprehensive treatment strategies for complex liver diseases.
