Dr Brendan Barber

Dr Brendan Barber is an accomplished Consultant Radiologist with a specialisation in Musculoskeletal Imaging. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Cape Town Groote Schuur Hospital in South Africa and completed his basic surgical training in London, becoming a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2005. Dr Barber subsequently pursued a career in diagnostic radiology and developed a keen interest in musculoskeletal imaging during his time at St George's Hospital in London. In his final year of training, he took up an Honorary Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. Dr Barber has several peer-reviewed radiological publications and has presented at numerous international meetings.

Dr Barber has extensive experience in magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, computed tomography, and a wide variety of interventional procedures. He specialises in all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging, with a particular interest in ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal interventions. Dr Barber's approach is patient-centred, and he works closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the very best care for his patients. His specialities include musculoskeletal radiology, MRI reporting, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and ultrasound-guided and CT-guided procedures.
