Dr Beate Haege

Dr Beate Haege is a compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist who provides expert psychiatric evaluation and outpatient mental healthcare for adults experiencing a broad range of emotional and psychological difficulties. Adopting a holistic, person-centred approach, Dr Haege works collaboratively with her patients to develop individualised treatment strategies. Her practice spans the care of individuals coping with mood disorders, anxiety, stress-related conditions, and complex psychiatric concerns, empowering patients to achieve improved well-being and stability.

Prior to pursuing her medical qualification, Dr Haege earned a diploma in Biology (BSc and MSc) in Freiburg, Germany. She subsequently completed her medical degree (MD) and undertook extensive postgraduate specialist training, obtaining accreditation from the Royal College of Psychiatrists as a Specialist in General Adult Psychiatry with a formal endorsement in Liaison Psychiatry. Dr Haege is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and has further advanced her specialist qualifications to incorporate psychotherapy into her clinical psychiatric practice.

With a strong focus on holistic care, Dr Haege integrates clinical management with psychological therapies, maintaining a particular interest in talking therapies such as psychoanalytic psychotherapy, group therapy, and systemic therapy. She offers dedicated support for conditions including generalised anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, health anxiety, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, adjustment disorders, and burnout. Furthermore, she supports individuals navigating personality difficulties, relationship concerns, bereavement, and student mental health challenges.
