Ms Barbara Blanco is a Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of specialist experience in childhood and youth as well as helping families in a wide range of settings.

Her main areas of expertise include neurodevelopmental disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, challenging behaviour and parenting. She specialises in holistic, patient-centred psychology and combines both Western Psychology and Traditional Medical Techniques to provide the best treatments for her patients. She is skilled in the use of a number of psychotherapy techniques, including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Non-Violent Resistance (NVR).

She currently practices as a Clinical Psychologist at Re:Cognition Health and is a member of the multidisciplinary team at the newly launched Autism Clinic in the Children & Young People Service. In this position, Ms Blanco performs autism assessments for children from age 18 months.
