I only had a telephone assessment with Dr Anna from Oak Grove Psychology, but it was one of the most valuable conversations I’ve ever had regarding my mental health. It was the first time I felt listened to. They went above and beyond to get me further support, which has changed my life. For so long I believed I was just a very anxious individual and dysregulated because of this, however because of the support from that one telephone assessment, I was able to find the right pathway for my needs, got my ADHD diagnosis and medication and have since been on a journey to understand the root of my core beliefs and how much I’ve been working against myself before. They also went above and beyond to wait for my insurance provider to get back to me about what they could cover and were really being understanding and flexible. While I didn’t end up having sessions, I found that every interaction with this team was phenomenal. I’d definitely trust them and reach out here if I needed mental health support in the future.
