About Dr. Lucy Bassil
Dr Lucy Bassil is a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s in Research in Clinical Psychology from the University of Birmingham. Lucy was really helpful. She methodically went through my issues and helped me with coping mechanisms and through talking through issues.
Very good support
Lucy was polite, friendly and empathetic. She made me feel at ease and able to talk openly about how I was feeling, without judgement. She introduced me to the techniques I needed to help control my anxiety. She explained the techniques well and helped me put them in to practice. I liked her ‘no blame’ approach, where she described how the brain functions and why it makes you feel a certain way in different situations. I found this very powerful, in helping me accept that you feel how you feel and you shouldn’t feel bad or guilty about it.
