Dr. Eleanor Ley

Eleanor Ley is a highly experienced Educational Psychologist with over twenty years of expertise supporting children, young people, and adults with complex psychological and educational needs.

Eleanor holds a Doctorate in Educational Psychology from Exeter University and a BACP Accredited Diploma in Counselling. She is also an accredited VIG Guider, reflecting her expertise in therapeutic guidance and video interaction techniques.

Having spent eight years delivering comprehensive psychological services across Cornwall's educational settings — including cognitive, behavioural, and emotional assessments — Eleanor brings rigorous, evidence-based practice to her work at Porthia Clinic.

Eleanor contributes to Porthia Clinic's autism and neurodiversity assessments, working collaboratively with Dr. Murton and with patients to ensure a thorough, multidisciplinary approach to assessment and support.
