Dr Ashvini Keshavan

Dr Ashvini Keshavan is a Consultant Neurologist specialising in cognitive neurology and neurodegenerative conditions. Her clinical practice focuses on supporting patients experiencing memory loss, cognitive decline, and complex neurological disorders. Driven by a commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care, Dr Keshavan works closely with individuals and their families to provide thorough diagnostic evaluations and clear, tailored management plans.

Dr Keshavan completed her medical undergraduate degree at Trinity College, University of Cambridge, where she also earned a First Class intercalated Bachelor's degree in Physiology and Psychology. She subsequently completed her postgraduate medical training and specialist neurology training in London, attaining her Certificate of Completion of Training in Neurology in 2022. In 2019, she was awarded a PhD for her research into blood and cerebrospinal fluid biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease. Dr Keshavan has held a prestigious Wolfson Clinical Research Fellowship and serves as an executive committee member and co-chair within the International Society to Advance Alzheimer's Research and Treatment Biofluid Biomarkers Professional Interest Area.

Alongside her clinical duties, Dr Keshavan is a Senior Clinical Research Fellow involved in leading research into dementia diagnostics, focusing on bringing advanced blood testing into routine clinical practice for earlier and more accessible diagnoses. Her clinical interests encompass the differential diagnosis of various dementias, early detection of cognitive impairment, and the real-world application of biofluid markers. By blending clinical expertise with leading scientific insights, Dr Keshavan ensures that every patient receives reassuring, evidence-based care.
