Dr Arthur McPhee

Dr Arthur McPhee is a dedicated Consultant Urologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for a wide range of urological conditions. Known for his compassionate approach and professional expertise, Dr McPhee works closely with patients to deliver tailored diagnostic assessments and evidence-based treatment plans. His clinical practice encompasses both general urological health and highly specialised surgical intervention, ensuring that every individual receives attentive and reassuring medical support.

In his clinical work, Dr McPhee has developed sub-specialty interests in pelvic oncology, robotic-assisted urological surgery, and peri-operative management. He routinely manages complex urological cancers, including bladder and prostate conditions, alongside general urological concerns such as benign prostatic disorders, urinary tract issues, and phimosis. Dr McPhee maintains a particular clinical focus on optimising peri-operative care and peri-operative sepsis management to promote safe outcomes and swift recoveries for surgical patients.

Dr McPhee completed his primary medical degree (MBChB) before undertaking extensive higher surgical training in the West of Scotland. To further refine his surgical skills, he completed advanced post-qualification fellowship training as a Robotics Fellow and specialist in urological pelvic oncology. In addition to his clinical qualifications, Dr McPhee actively engages in clinical research and ongoing professional development, including exploring the integration of clinical artificial intelligence tools to improve patient care workflows and treatment quality.
