Mr Arman Memarzadeh is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and clear with patients. He offers plain explanations for knee conditions and treatments, inspiring confidence. His surgical expertise, evident in successful total knee replacement and ACL reconstruction, leads to excellent recovery, improved stability, and less pain. Many patients seek his help for knee pain, needing procedures such as knee replacement, ACL reconstruction, and knee arthroscopy.
I had staged unilateral knee replacements, the first operation in October 2025, the second in January 2026. Mr Memarzadeh was clear and helpful in his explanations of the procedure, and showed himself to be a skilled and gifted surgeon - on each occasion the wound was small and neat with minimal scarring. I was quickly mobile with very little pain, and able to walk without either support or a limp within a month of the surgery on each occasion. I would add that the administrative back up provided by his secretary, Tracey, was also absolutely excellent. She responded promptly to queries and was proactive in getting me a scan appointment in a very limited time window.
I had a flipped bucket handle tear of my meniscus cartilage that was significantly impacting my quality of life. It was very quick and easy to arrange to see Mr Memarzadeh, his PA, was incredibly helpful and efficient throughout. Mr Memarzadeh was very easy to speak with, explained everything very clearly, and booked me in for an arthroscopy very quickly. The operation at The Spire went well, the operation, recovery and aftercare were all as expected given the very clear explanations from Mr Memarzadeh. I was never waiting for anything, an e-mail had reached me with any paperwork needed before I had even got home from my appointments. 10 weeks after the operation and I was (gently) kicking a football about with my son again, and 12 weeks after the operation I did a 16km hike across Kinder Scout. After a number of months of significantly reduced mobility it was great to be active again. Thank you to Mr Memarzadeh and his team.
Follow up appointment following surgery. Mr Memarzadeh talked through the surgery I had and explained the x-rays, and what outcomes to expect. He answered my questions fully and was reassuring.

I’ve been under Mr Memarzadeh for the last year, he has helped me so much with getting my mobility back after a serious injury, never rushed me and understood every single detail I felt. I couldn’t recommend anyone better!

Viewed Xrays and Scans. Final visit, all going well.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a 5* review, which we very much appreciate. I am glad all is going well and you have now had your final visit, all the very best for your continued recovery.
Mr Memarzader is very knowledgeable, well prepared for consultations, his diagnosis is fast, thoughtful and caring, followed by thorough preparation for an operation behind the scenes. I came to see Mr Memarzadeh with chronic knee instability and pain. I had a sport's injury about 10 years ago, followed by 2 operation and over the years my knee was still causing issues. Several surgeons refused to help me with an advice to wait for a knee replacement. I am in my early 50s and I was very unhappy with such prognosis. Mr Memarzadeh was keen to fix my knee and gave me a new hope. I had ACL reconstruction, meniscal repair and patella tendon repair. Recovery was good and my knee feels more stable than it was for the last 10 years. I would highly recommend Mr Memarzader to anyone and especially to people who wants to stay active or participate in sport. Mr Memarzadeh provides the best long term outcome for the knee.

Many thanks for the 5* review which we very much appreciate. I am delighted to hear that you have had a fantastic response following your consultations and of course the outcome of your surgery as well, I wish you all the best for your continued recovery. Thanks again for the wonderful feedback you have taken the time to provide.

Knee replacement surgery is the last course of treatment for severe and/or constant knee pain. If you’re at the point of considering knee replacement surgery, you will likely have already tried using painkillers, physiotherapy and walking aids to ease your symptoms but have reached a point where despite these treatments, your knee pain is severe or worsening.
