Dr Arieff Hassan

Dr Arieff Hassan is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist specialising in diagnostic and interventional imaging for a broad range of musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions. Using advanced radiological modalities, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, and fluoroscopy, he plays a critical role in delivering precise diagnostic evaluations and guiding targeted therapeutic treatments for his patients.

His primary areas of clinical interest include musculoskeletal and sports imaging, spinal imaging, and the radiological assessment of soft tissue sarcomas. Dr Hassan performs image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, such as ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopy-guided joint, bursa, and cyst injections or aspirations. By utilising precision guidance, he ensures optimal therapeutic outcomes while minimising discomfort for patients undergoing joint and soft tissue procedures.

Dr Hassan completed his medical training at the University of Nottingham, earning a Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMedSci) in 2001 and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) in 2003. He subsequently completed specialist training in Clinical Radiology, attaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2015, the same year he was admitted to the Specialist Register.
