Dr Anwen Gorry

Dr Anwen Gorry is an experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides compassionate and comprehensive healthcare to women. With a strong commitment to woman-centred care, she specialises in managing complex pregnancies, delivering high-quality intrapartum care, and addressing a wide spectrum of gynaecological conditions. Dr Gorry is dedicated to empowering patients through evidence-based guidance and clear communication, ensuring every individual receives personalised support when making informed decisions about their reproductive health and birthing options.

In her clinical practice, Dr Gorry possesses expertise in both general gynaecology and specialist obstetric care. Her key clinical interests encompass maternal-foetal medicine, the management of ectopic pregnancies, postpartum contraception services, and emergency obstetric care. Additionally, she has published research on polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), ovulation induction, and acute abdominal and gynaecological conditions occurring during pregnancy. Dr Gorry obtained her medical degree (MBBS equivalent) and completed higher specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
