Mr Amit Shah is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Fertility Plus, based at 92 Harley Street, London. Mr Shah qualified in medicine in 1988 and completed his Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1991. He was admitted as a full member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2004 and was awarded fellowship of the RCOG in 2016. He trained as a fertility specialist in both India and the UK and gained further experience in the USA and Germany.
For over 25 years, Mr Shah served the NHS as Consultant and Clinical Lead at Homerton Fertility Centre, where he was instrumental in establishing one of the most successful IVF clinics in London. During his tenure, he developed a first-class junior doctor training programme and advanced clinical services. Since leaving the NHS, he now works exclusively in private practice, while continuing his involvement in research and scientific development.
