Dr Anuradha Apte

Dr Anuradha Apte is a highly regarded Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon who specialises in the comprehensive management of both benign and malignant breast conditions. With a patient-centred approach, she is dedicated to delivering high-quality care, combining advanced surgical techniques with compassionate support to ensure the best possible outcomes for her patients.

Dr Apte completed her initial medical qualification in India before relocating to the United Kingdom to pursue advanced training. She completed her specialist training in General Surgery and Breast Surgery, followed by extensive training in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery at a specialised breast unit. Demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence, she obtained an MD in Breast Cancer Biology from the University of Essex and an MS in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery from the University of East Anglia. Additionally, she is a Fellow of the European Board of Surgery.

In her clinical practice, Dr Apte focuses on a wide range of breast procedures, including oncoplastic breast surgery, breast reconstruction, mammoplasty, and mastopexy. She is also highly experienced in conducting one-stop clinics, performing major duct excisions, and removing benign breast lumps. Alongside her clinical work, she contributes to the development of future medical professionals by serving as a Clinical and Educational Supervisor for surgical trainees.
