Dr Antigoni Deri

Dr Antigoni Deri is a dedicated Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist specialising in the comprehensive medical care of children with cardiac conditions. Operating within the broader field of Paediatrics, she provides empathetic and highly skilled clinical assessments to infants, young people, and their families. Dr Deri works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualised treatment strategies designed to optimise cardiovascular health throughout childhood and adolescence.

Her clinical sub-specialties include Paediatric Cardiology, Foetal Cardiology, and Congenital Cardiology. Dr Deri holds specific clinical interests in advanced non-invasive imaging techniques, including 3D echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography, and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). She is also experienced in MRI-guided cardiac catheterisation, foetal cardiac scanning, and the interpretation of paediatric electrocardiograms (ECGs). Her clinical expertise extends to evaluating complex structural heart anomalies, such as interatrial communications, atrial septal defects, and sinus venosus defects.

Dr Deri holds a primary medical degree (MD) and undertook extensive postgraduate specialty training in children's heart health. She gained valuable clinical and academic expertise serving as a Registrar and Research Fellow in leading paediatric cardiac units across the United Kingdom.
