Dr Garg graduated in 1999 and subsequently did MD Medicine in 2003 from Meerut, India.
She subsequently did speciality training in Haematology from Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield and was awarded Fellow of Royal college of Pathologists in 2011.
She has done a research project on Photopheresis in Chronic Graft versus host disease after allogeneic stem cell transplantation.
She has also published papers in peer reviewed journals.
She is a consultant in Bradford Teaching Hospitals since 2013. She also leads the chemotherapy services and malignant haematology services at Bradford Teaching Hospitals.
