Dr Annabel Baines

Dr Annabel Baines is a dedicated General Paediatrician and Senior Clinical Fellow who specialises in acute and critical paediatric care. As a Post CCT Doctor with a subspecialism in High Dependency care, she is committed to providing exceptional medical support to young patients during critical times. Her clinical practice focuses on paediatric emergency medicine, acute paediatric care, and high dependency management, ensuring that children receive rapid, precise, and compassionate treatment.

Dr Baines completed her advanced medical training and holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Paediatrics. Her commitment to clinical excellence and supportive leadership was recognised when she was awarded the Senior Training Doctor Hero Award at the Paediatric Awards for Training Achievements. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as an Honorary University Fellow at the Peninsula Medical School within the Faculty of Health at the University of Plymouth, where she contributes to medical education and the training of future healthcare professionals.
