Dr Anna Brough

Dr Anna Brough is a highly dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who specialises in general paediatrics, with a particular focus on high dependency care and emergency management. As a reassuring and expert presence for families, she serves as a Lead Consultant for a paediatric emergency assessment unit and acts as a Link Paediatrician for a children's major trauma team. Her clinical work also extends to paediatric transport medicine, where she contributes her expertise to a regional children's transport and retrieval team.

Dr Brough completed her medical degree at Newcastle University before undertaking her comprehensive paediatric training in the North East of England. To further her expertise in paediatric transport medicine, she completed a specialised placement with the Children's Acute Transport Service (CATS) team in London. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice in child health.

In addition to her direct clinical responsibilities, Dr Brough is deeply committed to quality improvement and simulation in healthcare.
