Dr Anita Devlin

Dr Anita Devlin is an accomplished Consultant Paediatric Neurologist dedicated to providing high-quality care for children facing complex neurological challenges. Serving as a regional lead for childhood epilepsy, Dr Devlin works closely with young patients and their families to deliver compassionate, structured, and individualised management plans. Her clinical work focuses on evaluating and treating a wide range of paediatric neurological conditions to support children's development and long-term well-being.

Dr Devlin earned her medical degree from University College London Medical School in 1988. She subsequently completed extensive specialist postgraduate training in Paediatrics and Paediatric Neurology across Oxford, Southampton, Aberdeen, London, and Newcastle. Demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical research, she was awarded a higher doctorate (MD) in 2001.

Her primary areas of sub-specialisation are complex epilepsy and neurodisability. Dr Devlin maintains a keen clinical interest in posture and movement disorders, as well as developmental impairments of vision. She provides specialised therapies, including vagal nerve stimulation and ketogenic diet management for complex seizure disorders. Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Devlin actively contributes to medical education by teaching about paediatric epilepsy both nationally and internationally.
