Dr Andrew Villis

Dr Andrew Villis is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who provides broad clinical care for infants, children, and young people. He specialises in general and acute paediatrics, offering thorough clinical evaluations and treatment for a wide range of acute childhood conditions. In addition to his primary clinical duties, Dr Villis holds a senior governance role as a Named Doctor for Children's Safeguarding, reflecting his commitment to protecting vulnerable young patients and advancing child welfare standards.

Dr Villis completed his medical degree at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, qualifying in 2007. He subsequently undertook higher paediatric specialty training in the North East of England between 2009 and 2018. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Villis is actively involved in medical education, contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate training programmes to help train and mentor the next generation of medical professionals.
