Dr Andrew Badacsonyi

Dr Andrew Badacsonyi is a highly qualified Consultant Anaesthetist and Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine who is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centred care. With a clinical focus that spans both anaesthesia and critical care, he supports patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the perioperative journey. His reassuring approach and commitment to clinical excellence help to put patients at ease during what can often be a stressful time.

In addition to his core work in administering anaesthetics, Dr Badacsonyi has a strong interest in intensive care medicine and patient safety. He has held key leadership roles, including serving as an Infection Control Lead and a Patient Safety Champion within the intensive care unit. He is also actively involved in post-intensive care follow-up, helping patients navigate their recovery after critical illness. His dedication to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice ensures that patients receive the safest possible care.

Dr Badacsonyi completed his medical degree at the University of London, qualifying in 1995. He has since committed himself to ongoing professional development, staying at the forefront of the latest advancements and techniques in anaesthesia and critical care. As a respected educator, he has also served as a College Tutor for Intensive Care Medicine, contributing to the training and mentorship of the next generation of medical professionals. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and a member of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine.
