Dr Ana Swain

Dr Ana Swain is an experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides compassionate, patient-centred medical care for women through every stage of pregnancy and reproductive health. Dedicated to supporting expectant mothers, Dr Swain focuses on delivering clear guidance, empathetic communication, and tailored management plans for both routine pregnancies and high-risk obstetric conditions.

Her clinical practice covers a broad spectrum of obstetric and gynaecological care, with a special interest in foetal medicine and the management of complex pregnancy conditions, including placenta accreta spectrum disorders. Dr Swain works collaboratively alongside multidisciplinary teams, including neonatologists, anaesthetists, and surgical specialists, to ensure the highest standards of safety and care for both mother and baby.

Dr Swain completed her specialist post-graduate training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the United Kingdom, achieving full specialist registration. She is a fully registered practitioner with the General Medical Council and maintains active engagement with professional bodies, including the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Alongside her direct clinical responsibilities, Dr Swain is deeply involved in medical education and clinical research. She serves as a Clinical Tutor guiding post-graduate medical trainees, and contributes to clinical studies in maternal and foetal health to ensure her patients receive modern, evidence-based care in a calm and reassuring environment.
