Dr Amira Stylianides

Dr Amira Stylianides is a dedicated Consultant Medical Ophthalmologist and Clinical Lead specialising in complex ocular inflammatory conditions. Possessing extensive clinical focus in Medical Ophthalmology and Uveitis, Dr Stylianides provides comprehensive care for patients presenting with systemic and multi-system inflammatory disorders affecting the eyes. Her expertise encompasses the management of severe uveitis, ocular inflammation, and diabetic retinopathy, alongside specialist ocular rheumatology care.

Dr Stylianides completed her medical degree at the University of Manchester, graduating with an MB ChB in 2003. She subsequently undertook higher specialist clinical training in ophthalmology. Demonstrating a commitment to high clinical standards, she was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in 2019.
