Dr Ambalika Das

Dr Ambalika Das is an experienced Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Neonatologist dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare for newborns, infants, and young people. With expertise spanning general paediatric care and advanced neonatal medicine, Dr Das focuses on supporting young patients and their families through every stage of early growth. Her clinical practice centres on delivering compassionate, family-oriented care that promotes optimal health outcomes and long-term physical and emotional well-being.

Her areas of clinical interest encompass neonatal medicine, developmentally supportive care for infants, and neurodevelopmental follow-up for high-risk newborns. Dr Das takes a keen interest in perinatal medicine, infant feeding support, and early developmental interventions. In addition, she is passionately involved in child health education, leading national initiatives that encourage healthy lifestyle habits, active learning, and positive mental health in children from an early age.

Dr Das earned her medical qualification with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree and holds Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). She is registered on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Paediatrics with a specialty in Neonatal Medicine. Actively involved in postgraduate education and child advocacy, Dr Das serves as a volunteer ambassador with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH), where her contributions to child engagement and preventative health have received national recognition.
