Mr Alexios Tzivanakis

Mr. Tzivanakis is a consultant surgeon with a special interest in open colorectal surgery. After gaining a BSc in Immunology, he completed his bachelor of medicine and surgery at Imperial College London in 2005. His higher surgical training was done in Wessex deanery focusing in general, laparoscopic and open colorectal surgery and he later became a fellow of the royal college of surgeons in 2016. As a research fellow in Oxford Hospitals and he was awarded a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Cardiff University for research into the early detection of colorectal cancer. He was appointed as Consultant Surgeon in Peritoneal Malignancy Institute in Basingstoke Hospital in 2019. He now serves as one of the partners in the Basingstoke Colorectal Clinic.

Mr. Tzivanakis continues to publish his research work and enjoys presenting in the field of Peritoneal Malignancy and Colorectal surgery.
