Dr Alexander Lewis

Dr Alexander Lewis is a Consultant Endocrinologist specialising in Endocrinology & Diabetes. Committed to providing empathetic and reassuring care, Dr Lewis focuses on diagnosing and managing a wide range of endocrine and metabolic conditions. He is dedicated to optimising clinical care pathways, ensuring that each patient receives personalised, evidence-based management tailored to their individual healthcare needs.

In his clinical practice, Dr Lewis has a specialist interest in reproductive endocrinology, hypogonadism, and male factor infertility, including the targeted treatment of hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism. He also provides expertise in the evaluation and management of pituitary tumours and rare genetic endocrine conditions. Furthermore, Dr Lewis plays a key role in young adult transition services, assisting patients who are moving from paediatric care to adult endocrinology services.

Dr Lewis graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours (MBChB Hons) and subsequently achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians, holding both the MRCP (UK) and the MRCP in Diabetes & Endocrinology. He completed his specialist training in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Internal Medicine in 2021. Dr Lewis actively participates in regional multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate with fellow specialists, ensuring patients benefit from comprehensive, multi-specialty expertise.
