Dr Alex Looseley

Dr Alex Looseley is a dedicated Consultant Anaesthetist who provides comprehensive anaesthetic care for patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. Working alongside multi-disciplinary healthcare teams, Dr Looseley focuses on delivering safe, effective pain relief and supportive perioperative care tailored to the individual needs of every patient.

With clinical expertise spanning general anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia, and advanced airway management, Dr Looseley ensures that patients experience a smooth and reassuring surgical journey. He places strong emphasis on clear pre-operative communication and compassionate care, helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident prior to their operations. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr Looseley has contributed to medical research in resuscitation science and clinical wellbeing.

Dr Looseley completed his medical training to earn a Bachelor of Medical Sciences with Honours (BMedSci Hons) alongside his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) degrees. Following his undergraduate medical education, he completed extensive specialist postgraduate training in Anaesthetics and achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA).
