Dr Ajay Sinha

Dr Ajay Sinha is an accomplished Consultant Paediatric Neurosurgeon who specialises in treating children with complex neurological, cranial, and spinal conditions. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, Dr Sinha provides comprehensive surgical and medical care for young patients facing brain and spinal disorders. His clinical work encompasses the thorough evaluation and management of conditions such as brain tumours, skull abnormalities, hydrocephalus, and congenital spinal malformations, ensuring that every child receives personalised care designed to support their development and health.

Dr Sinha's extensive clinical interests focus on paediatric skull deformities, Chiari malformations, spina bifida, and spinal tethering disorders. He performs a wide range of sophisticated surgical interventions, including endoscopic surgery, pituitary surgery, complex spinal procedures, and cranioplasty reconstructive techniques. Dr Sinha completed his undergraduate medical degree (MBBS) at Calcutta University in 1988, followed by a Master of Surgery (MS) at PGIMER Chandigarh in 1990 and a Master of Chirurgie (MCh) in Neurosurgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 1994. He subsequently completed specialist neurosurgical training in the United Kingdom, achieving his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Surgical Neurology from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2003. He has also undertaken advanced clinical fellowships in Paediatric Neurosurgery, Craniofacial Surgery, and Skull Base and Pituitary Surgery. Dr Sinha is a member of several respected professional bodies, including the Society of British Neurological Surgeons, the British Paediatric Neurosurgery Group, the European Society for Paediatric Neurosurgery, the International Society for Paediatric Neurosurgery, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the Neurological Society of India.
