Mr Ahmed A Othman is a consultant Cardiac and Aortic surgeon at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital.

Mr Othman graduated from Ain Shams University in 2004 and began his cardiac surgery training at the National Heart Institute in Cairo, one of the busiest Cardiac centers in the Middle East. During this time, he earned Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of London and a Master's in Surgical Sciences in 2010.
He then undertook a three-year fellowship in Adult Cardiac, Aortic, and Congenital Cardiac surgery at Aswan Heart Center, mentored by Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub.
He moved to the United Kingdom in 2013 and completed surgical training at Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust. In 2014, he was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Cardiothoracic Surgery (FRCS-CTh). In 2018, he was appointed a research scholar at the renowned Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA.
Throughout his training, Mr Othman was a regular participant in humanitarian missions to various nations through Chain of Hope England and La Chaîne de L'Espoir.
Upon completion of his training, he was awarded the Terumo Aortic Fellowship at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. Following its completion, he was appointed Consultant Cardiac and Aortic surgeon.
