Dr Ahmad Alaqqad

Dr Ahmad Alaqqad is a dedicated Consultant Urological Surgeon who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for a wide range of urological conditions. Known for his reassuring and professional approach, he specialises in advanced urological treatments, with a particular focus on minimally invasive techniques and robotic surgery. Dr Alaqqad is committed to delivering the highest standards of clinical excellence, ensuring that each patient receives a tailored treatment plan designed to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr Alaqqad completed his medical training and subsequently achieved his specialist registration in the UK. He is highly active within the professional medical community, serving as a Co-Founder of the Jordanian Doctors in the UK (JDUK) association, which supports international medical graduates in their clinical careers. Additionally, he has held the role of Fellowship Lead for the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) Section of Trainees (BSoT). His dedication to advancing his clinical skills is further demonstrated by receiving a prestigious travel grant from The Urology Foundation to undertake an observership at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas.

In his clinical practice, Dr Alaqqad has a strong interest in upper tract urology, robotic-assisted procedures, and complex reconstructive surgeries, such as laparoscopic-assisted Mitrofanoff appendicovesicostomy. Alongside his clinical work, he is deeply passionate about medical education and mentorship. He has actively participated in international mentoring programmes, helping to guide and train the next generation of surgeons both within the UK and in resource-limited environments globally.
