Mr William Britnell

Mr William Britnell is a Urologist.

Mr Britnell's undergraduate medicine degree was awarded from Manchester University, with placements in Stoke-on-Trent and Shrewsbury. He spent their elective placement in Long Island, New York. Mr Britnell's first job as a Junior Doctor was on the Urology Ward at Wycombe Hospital, where the team there inspired their love of Urology. They completed their core surgical training in Birmingham and Warwickshire working in Vascular, General and Plastic Surgery and then spent six years as a Urology Registrar in the Oxford Deanery. During their Urology training, they spent time in rural Uganda, teaching local surgeons keyhole procedures to treat benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH).

Mr Britnell's research and publications have included work on dermatoses of the foreskin and management of rare bladder diseases.
