Mr Adam Matthews

Mr. Adam Matthews is an accomplished optometrist with a commitment to providing excellent eye care services. He graduated from Ulster University in 2016 with First Class Honors in Optometry. After completing his pre-registration year in Northern Ireland, Adam relocated to Cornwall.

In Cornwall, Adam serves as the Director and Lead Optometrist at Matthews Opticians & Hearing Care, which is located in Helston. He also holds the position of Director at Bennett & Rogers Opticians, a group with four practices across East Devon. In 2019, Adam joined the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Local Optical Committee (LOC), and he quickly became a director of the Primary Eye Care Company.

Adam's dedication to his profession has been recognised through awards, as he was honoured with the AOP Newly Qualified Optometrist of the Year in 2020. He is currently pursuing further qualifications by completing the independent prescribing qualification. 

Adam’s clinical expertise, and dedication to the field of optometry position him as a valuable professional in the eye care industry.
