About Dry Eye Centre

The Dry Eye Centre is a specialist practise that focusses on the analysis and treatment of dry eye conditions ranging from mild to severe. It is known to be the first clinic in the UK to specialise only in dry eye conditions. The specialist optometrists first try and understand how and why the condition started, so that they can reach a full diagnosis. They will also want to know more about the history of the dry eye, any symptoms that patients experience on a daily basis and any previous treatments that have been used. Furthermore many diseases and medications can affect the eyes so the optometrists will always ask about the state of general health. Upon diagnosis, they are able to use the latest technology for treating the condition. The Dry Eye Centre was the first practice in the UK to offer the Intense Pulsed Light treatment. They also use eye drops, Blephex lid cleaning, contact lenses and punctual plugs.
