The nurses were all lovely and kind, and I felt very well cared for. Mr Vig was wonderful and gave me complete confidence.
The place is absolutely knackered. The whole place is falling apart. The toilets were not clean tissue thrown all over the place. Dirt in the floor. Mirror not cleaned. It’s as though the people running the place have given up and can’t be bothered anymore. I’m paying for private healthcare, I expect at the very least to have a tea or coffee offered to me. I asked if there was any and was told “no just water” as if they were doing me a favour by me even getting water. Terrible, absolutely terrible would not recommend anyone to go here.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience at the Western Eye Hospital and will be looking into the concerns raised regarding the environment and service. This is not the standard we aim to provide and if you would like to discuss this further, please contact us at imperial.private.healthcare@nhs.net and a member of the management team will be in touch. Best wishes, the Private Care team at Imperial College Healthcare
Lovely staff Great process
I was there for a day surgery for a cataract operation. I cannot remember the names of the nurses, that took care of me, but I was looked after extremely well.
Treatment did not require a lot of interface with staff other than consultant. Very obvious a public/ accident hospital but treatment was quick and excellent so no complaints
Very positive experience
Friendly staff

After waiting 35 minutes I was told Dr Younis would see me after some eye tests. After the eye tests I waited and then was told Dr Younis was abroad and would phone me next week.

Ms. Saw was able to see me quickly and provided and excellent care. Her attention to detail and kind communication style was very appreciated when reviewing the eye issue I had come to hospital with that day.
