He is gentle, caring and put me at ease from the initial examination through to the operation itself. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs to see a gynaecologist or who needs a hysterectomy. My surgery was uneventful and recovery was straightforward. He explained everything at each stage and made time to see me after the surgery. I’m incredibly grateful to him for looking after me and resolving the problem.

I was recommended Mrs Khaja from a previous consultant I had had a number of years ago. I had a prolapse for about 4 years. I was told pelvic exercises wouldn’t alleviate the problem. So I saw Mrs Khaja in the March of this year. She was very understanding and talked me though the various options available to me. I chose to have a vaginal hysterectomy which meant an overnight stay and a quicker recovery as I had a wedding to attend at the end of August. The operation went really well and Mrs Khaja came to see me in the morning. She was really happy with how the hysterectomy went and she was more than happy to answer the questions I had. I have now been to my 6 week check up which went really well. My experience of this whole process is of a high standard of care by Mrs Khaja and I would highly recommend her to any woman who is going through the choosing of consultants from a long list of names.

I found Mr Aldrich very knowledgeable and understanding. I’ve seen him a few times before my operation and afterwards and he always has time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions.
